year, the company launched its latest model, the new Oyster Perpetual Day Date II,
to universal acclaim. First introduced in 1956, the Day-Date was a groundbreaking
innovation as the first wristwatch to display the day of the week in full. 2008’s
latest model is the quintessence of Rolex’s savoir faire, available in 18 carat yellow,
white, platinum (as featured above) or Everose gold – the watch for the man who

Housed within a 41mm case, the Day-Date II boasts a number of ingenious features, including a movement with a PARACHROM hairspring, highly resistant to shocks and magnetic fields.
