BUYING A DIAMOND

The overall sale of diamonds is best handled through a knowledgeable agent, and whilst a designer will use the stones to visual advantage, our working knowledge of price, colour, cut and market flow can point the potential buyer to best value for money.

Should the reputation of the agent not be sufficient for the purchaser, a gemology certificate can be supplied for the stone, giving an independent opinion as to the colour, clarity, cut and weight of the stone, which is then easily calibrated for worth on the world market.

It can cost up to £200 to have a stone certified which obviously makes it more expensive to purchase, but gives the stone its own pedigree.
