XXX Diamonds

In our quest for the best, Polished diamonds come in all shapes and sizes, some are “Monday cars” not quite as well made as they could be, and sometimes in poor quality material. Like any craftsman, the polisher strives for the best he can achieve in “Making” a diamond, the angles of symmetry are crucial to achieve maximum “sparkle”.

A good polisher will take that extra bit of care, that few hours longer to ensure his surface on the facets smooth, blemish free, no ripple from the polishing wheel.

Given that the geometry of cutting diamonds is as important as the colour and the clarity, the system of grading or “certifying” a diamond has given us the independent calibration of stones we now know as “the certificate”. It comes in various forms, and there are numerous Laboratories throughout the diamond world, but only two are, in my opinion, worth bothering about, the Belgian HRD and the American GIA.

To buy beautiful diamonds with a “certificate” gives the purchaser peace of mind, that the stone has been labelled a certain colour or clarity. If you have seen a certificate, I will now draw your attention to the crucial elements that, behind all of this, calibrate the polisher and his skill. You should look at “Symmetry,” “Polish,” and “Cut Grade”. These categories can vary from poor through good to excellent, and it is this description that will calibrate your diamonds as being “well made” or average.

So, the precious certificate has now been sub-divided to produce a new breed of Polished diamond, a final scrutiny that gives you the very best of the best, the XXX Brilliant cut stone _ excellent symmetry, excellent finish and excellent proportions. These stones are relatively rare, because not all polishers do an equal job. I am very proud to present to you, our small collection of Triple X Diamonds, made so perfectly the Laboratories have given them the ultimate accolade, placing them above all other polished Brilliant cuts.

If perfection matters to you, then you can insist on a Triple X diamond the next time you decide to go shopping for the perfect stone.

Currently, we have three XXX diamonds, with their certificates, 1ct, 70pt and 46pts. The stones can be placed in any of our existing designs, or made into something special for you.

XXX diamonds, a new generation.
